This Privacy Policy explains how Tiger Energy Storage, a project of New Leaf Energy, Inc., collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through tigerenergystorage.com and related webpages, collectively referred to as the Site. References to Tiger Energy Storage, New Leaf Energy, we, us, or our include New Leaf Energy, Inc. and its affiliates and representatives, as applicable. 

This policy applies to information collected through the Site. It does not apply to information collected through other New Leaf Energy websites, offline activities, employment processes, or third-party websites and services that maintain their own privacy policies. 

1 Information We Collect 

Information You Provide 

We may collect information you choose to provide when you contact us, submit a question, request information, or subscribe to project updates. Depending on the form, this information may include: 

Name and contact information, such as an email address, telephone number, or mailing address. 

Organization, company, or community affiliation. 

Communication preferences and newsletter subscription status. 

The content of messages, questions, comments, and other information you voluntarily submit. 

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account information, health information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information through general Site forms.

Government agencies, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or the Site. 

Parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, project transfer, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards where required. 

We may disclose information that has been aggregated or deidentified so that it does not reasonably identify you. 

5 Sale and Sharing of Personal Information 

We do not sell personal information for money. Based on the Site practices described in this policy, we also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If these practices change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by applicable law. 

6 Email Choices 

You may unsubscribe from marketing or project-update emails at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us. We may retain limited information needed to honor your opt-out request. Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not prevent nonmarketing messages sent in response to a request or as otherwise permitted by law. 

7 Data Retention 

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to requests, maintaining subscription preferences, operating and securing the Site, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the purpose for collection, and legal requirements. We may retain aggregated or deidentified information for longer periods.

You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We may ask for additional information and may deny or limit a request when permitted by law. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity verification. 

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. You may also manage cookies through your browser and any Site cookie controls. Because there is not yet a uniform industry response to Do Not Track signals, the Site may not respond to them. We will recognize legally required browser-based opt-out preference signals when applicable to our practices. 

10 Children’s Privacy 

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information through the Site, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
